Switching to machine XML files that use a machine 'type' attribute rather than 'class'; 'class' can still be used to specify the machine type if 'type' is omitted, but going forward, it should only be used to specify an alternate CSS class

Somehow I failed to add two of the four machines to the release... hmmm.
2017-01-31 16:18:35 -08:00
Jeff Parsons
bb1bcc804f
Allow machine XML files to separate machine "type" from machine "class"; if present, "type" should determine the machine type, and "class" simply becomes the machine's style

v1.31.0 marks our first transition to ES6 classes, but only for PDPjs initially (which is why there must be both /lib and /es6 files in the shared folder for now)

Added a variety of checks and automatic repairs to DiskDump, aimed primarily at issues I've come across with pre-DOS 2.0 diskettes (eg, diskettes without BPBs, like 160Kb diskettes from DOS 1.0 and 320Kb diskettes from DOS 1.1)

ff6d15a622
Updated the build process to formally declare that we're compiling from ES6 to ES5 (although for now, 99.99% of the code is already and will remain ES5.1-compatible)

Updated Closure Compiler to v20160911, so now we have a version that supports ECMAScript 6, but I'm not going to go bonkers on ES6 features just yet; the first feature I'm going to use is support for octal and binary constants (of the form 0onnnn and 0bnnnn)

Bumped version to 1.30 in honor of the PDP11 module that's being integrated, along with my first attempt to use a newer version of the Closure Compiler (ie, the JavaScript version), as well as giving Gulp a try -- although Gulp leaves just as bad a taste in my mouth as Grunt did

A (PC8080) VT100 can now connect to a (PCx86) IBM PC AT; only problem seems to be flow control now.
...
Also, each PCjs debugger can now be independently accessed from an external debugger (eg, "pcx86('ver')" or "pc8080('ver')"); the global '$' symbol is no longer used for debugger access.
TODO: There are still many places where GLOBALVAR should be replaced with PCX86.GLOBALVAR or PC8080.GLOBALVAR as appropriate (which I've finally started doing in each debugger.js file).
